Who is Countessina?

But who is Countessina? She's not anyone in particular. Just the name of a great E-tailer full of stuff we think you'll love. In fact, buying one of everything is recommended, but not required. Currently, we carry cute infant's and adorable girl's clothing, as well as a limited selection of boys clothing, baby footwear and some cool gifts. Don't despair, we're preparing to add more boys clothing, and more exceptional gifts, shoes, and blankets…ok everything.

In the cold and snowy winter of a Montreal suburb there was a busy Mom who loved to shop.

Our Story
Mom was an import from the USA and Dad was a native of Montreal. Mom had beautiful adorable kids that needed unique adorable clothes. Mom missed all the little boutiques she shopped at in the USA, that offered fabulous alternatives to the massive everyday national chains. So, Dad quickly showed her some little local boutiques full of beautiful European designers. Although, with two kids under two, Mom had very little time to shop. So during their naptime she would quickly search the Internet, joyfully shopping away for her little ones.

She had a passion for finding unique gifts, shoes, clothes…ok everything, but she always had a difficult time having US companies ship to her happy Montreal home. She had to do something fast.

So Mom, with her Internet and insatiable shopping background, and Dad, with his business and law background, set forth to build a universal website. Yes, a universal website, bringing adorable little American designers, that were just too hard to find in Canada and together with adorable French-Canadian designers, that may be difficult to find in the US. Don't worry; she'll throw in some great European designers into the mix, and some cool gifts, and blankets…ok everything. And of course, they'll ship it to you, wherever your happy family lives.

1. Shop quick, shop slow. However you like. We promise to keep the website fast and easy to navigate through. Put items on your wish list and come back to it when you have time. 3. Shop often. Every now and then you'll get incentives, like free shipping or discounts on future orders. Everyone should be rewarded for continued effort.

6. Size does matter. 2T, 2X, 24M, 2. What's the difference? We'll tell you. We have accurate sizing information for each designer, many times for each outfit. So measure up!
   
   
7. No shirts, no shoes, no problem. You can even eat ice cream while you shop, it's your keyboard not ours! We don't mind. That's what makes shopping more fun.
